Meet Linda Robinson
Why “Spirit First”?
For any woman who has reached a turning point in her life, ready to make significant changes but not quite sure how, I know just how it feels.
Several years ago I experienced a major internal shift which led to some major life changes. Over time I raised my standards, changed old beliefs, created new habits, discovered my life passion and purpose, and set new personal and professional goals. Along the way, I learned some important lessons and skills, and tuned in to some helpful wisdom.
Finally I arrived at the most important realization of all. It’s my relationship with universal intelligence, consciousness – my relationship with Spirit — that is of primary importance. Everything else is secondary. Of course, mind, body, and what happens in the world also have their importance. But I have learned that when I allow my mind and body to be servants of Spirit, the state of my world always improves.
When I put Spirit First, I identify and attend to my own true voice above all other voices. That inner voice that whispers of who I really am and what I most love is my sacred guide along life’s journey. I’ve learned that this is the voice of my soul. It arises from Spirit and it speaks the ultimate truth, which is always about love, forgiveness, joy, and giving.
That’s how I finally heard the call to my most authentic self. And it’s how I have come to experience the very best part of my life so far.
Thanks to my “Spirit First” approach, I now live my own brand of life balance and Spirit inspired success, one that includes a sense of hope, freedom, joy, and ever increasing peace.
Personal Interests
One of my most favorite things is messing about in boats and being on or by the water. This explains many of the photographs you see here on the website. Ocean, river, lake or pond… There’s just something about bodies of water that soothes my soul!
My husband John and I spend most weekends living aboard our express cruiser. Sailing or power, boating has been part of our lives for many years and is our most favorite thing to do together. Having recently moved to the Charlotte area and scoring a nice slip on Lake Norman, we’re enjoying new boating escapades and meeting new friends.
Some other favorites are nature photography; books and reading, especially on personal growth and spirituality; baking; haiku poetry; the Native flute; the entire animal kingdom; my spiritual & physical fitness practices; authentic conversations.
With a natural love of learning and a desire to be a resource for my clients, I am always on the lookout for the latest and best information on cultivating life balance, stress relief, and peace of mind. Some of my favorite areas of in-depth study and practice are spirituality and care of the soul, feminine power, mindfulness, positive psychology, creativity, and the life coaching process.
Valued Transitions
Born in Canada, I lived my first thirty years mostly in and around Montreal and Toronto. John and I then moved to northern New Jersey, where we lived and worked for eighteen years before recently moving to the Charlotte area.
I have also been blessed with many opportunities for world travel along the way. Visiting different cultures and the natural beauty of other locations around the world expands my mind, opens my heart, and enriches my life in profound ways.
After 20 years supporting corporate executive leaders in Canada and the U.S., I discovered professional coaching and never looked back. I had simply found my most meaningful life’s work. As soon as I could manage it financially, I left the corporate world to start my own personal development business.
Working closely with women as their life balance coach is a calling of love and service that I find extremely rewarding. Inspiring others (and myself) to navigate change with courage and grace is my passion, my greatest learning, and my best work.
When the timing is right and our paths do cross, I hope the Spirit First approach will help you navigate the most genuine and fulfilling stage yet in your journey through life.
Yours in the spirit of life balance and inner peace,
